Our Legacy 

Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster is part of Lancaster County Motors, Inc., the largest family of dealerships in Lancaster County. Our dealership opened its doors in 1957, but our legacy began decades before in 1935 when the Mann family ventured into the automotive business. The Manns opened their first dealership, introducing area drivers to brands like MG, Studebaker, and Packard. 

The Manns were determined to offer their customers a unique experience by personalizing their approach and treating everyone like family. With a laid-back culture defined by integrity and respect, the dealership flourished and built a loyal customer base that inspired the Manns to expand. In 1957, they were awarded a Mercedes-Benz franchise, and with another dealership in the family, they established Lancaster County Motors, Inc.

In the decades since our dealership opened its doors, we have continued operating with the same values and vision that defined the first Mann dealership nearly a century ago. Our dealership has also expanded, moving into a state-of-the-art standalone facility in 2001 to accommodate our customers, earning a Best of the Best award for our facilities, service, sales, and customer satisfaction. 

Today, we are privileged to continue an incredible legacy as the oldest Mercedes-Benz dealer in the state. We are renowned for our award-winning approach, unmatched selection, and lifetime commitment to every customer who walks through our doors. A Heart for Service: Our Community 

As the oldest Mercedes-Benz dealer in Pennsylvania, we know the value of community firsthand. Over the years, we have excitedly served drivers across the state by helping them bring their automotive dreams to life. Yet, our impact extends beyond our showroom floor to the community that's been our home for decades. 

We have a heart for service and are just as dedicated to our local community as we are to our customers. Our team proudly supports local initiatives and organizations to help enhance and positively impact the lives of those around us. Our community outreach includes supporting schools like the Manheim Township School District, Lancaster Catholic High School, the Hempfield School District, and the Warwick School District. We also support the arts and local sports teams with contributions to the Fulton Theater, Lancaster Symphony, and Lancaster Barnstormers. 

We reinforce the work and vision of many other organizations through financial donations and volunteering our time. We're involved with the Lancaster Chamber, CASA, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, and Rotary International. Other organizations we support include the India Organization of Lancaster County, Super Chef, TASTE Lancaster, the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, Lancaster History, the Spanish American Civic Association, the National Wildlife Federation, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, A Week Away Foundation, and AAAS.
