The new GLA gives drivers and passengers more of everything in the 2021 model year: power, room, and comfort. Plus, the technology gets an important upgrade to the stunning MBUX infotainment system. Drivers of the existing GLA will be sure to notice the increase in the vehicle’s dimensions. The height of the GLA has increased by 3.6 inches, the width by 1.2 inches, and the wheelbase is 1.1 inches wider. These inches all add up to a roomier ride for passengers and cargo.
The new GLA also gets a new powertrain! The 2.0L inline-4 Turbo engine clocks in at 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Top speed is 130 mph. and you can get from 0 to 60 mph in a quick 6.8 seconds. Not bad for a small SUV!
Drivers will experience terrific fuel economy: 25 mpg in the city, 34 mpg on the highway, with a combined statistic of 28 mpg overall. The 4MATIC® variation of the 2021 GLA 250 features similar fuel economy: 24 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 27 mpg overall.
