Mercedes-Benz Develops a Fragrance

Mercedes-Benz may be one of the finest automobile manufacturers, but the company's awareness and clever expertise are being applied to realms outside of powerful engines. At this time, the German automaker's models include the C-, E-, S-, CL- and CLS- Classes; eyewear; apparel; watches, and at the beginning of next year will include a brand new fragrance for men.

Do not be concerned. This new fragrance doesn't smell at all like a new Mercedes-Benz car. The company does know quite a bit about appearance. There are probably few people who would enjoy strutting around smelling like a new car. This new Mercedes-Benz fragrance, which will be available as an eau de toilette spray, deodorant, shower gel, body gel and after shave balm, smells quite wonderful.

Carefully formulated using nature's finest ingredients to convey strong, affluent masculinity, it's extremely easy to wear, and be near. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if one or two women got a little bit closer to drink up the intoxicating scent, defined be a spicy base; warm middle note, and cool base. Among the myriad of scents Mercedes-Benz draws on are Calabrian bergamont, lemon, Italian mandarin, bourbon pepper, nutmeg, violet, galbanum resin, cedar, vetyver grass, and just a hint of patchouli (which in this instance has absolutely no hippie undertones).

What impelled Mercedes-Benz to create their own fragrance? To be honest, Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster doesn't rightly know. It could be that fragrance goes with fashion, another one of their fortes. It could also be that they were inspired by the scents they specially developed for the atomisers found in Maybach models and the Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman. Either way, we're ecstatic they took the leap. And, we think you'll agree, once you have the opportunity to experience it for yourself, early in the new year.
