The New & Improved Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class

One of Mercedes-Benz's smallest SUVs is its GLK-Class, which became available at Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster, located at 1550 Commerce Drive  Lancaster, PA 17601, three years ago There may be some automakers who would think it best to hold off on redesigning the model until it had matured a little. However, our sources tell us that Mercedes-Benz just couldn't wait to improve this fantastic SUV.

Underscoring allegations Mercedes-Benz was giving the GLK-Class a nip and tuck, following spy shots of the vehicle undergoing testing this past May, are new images of the angular SUV taking to the icy roads of Norway.

Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster is relying solely on these leaked photos. But, from what we have observed, the new and improved Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class sports revamped front and rear bumpers, stronger-looking headlamps and tail lamps, and LED running lights. Inside the cabin, it looks as though Mercedes-Benz designers have incorporated retro style similar to the SLS AMG. Take the GLK-Class shifter, for example...it's moved from the center console to the steering column.

No word yet on when or where Mercedes-Benz plans to unveil the pet project. However, if you stay tuned to the Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster blog, you're guaranteed to be among the first to know. In the meantime, feel free to explore the current 2012 GLK-Class SUV, now available at 1550 Commerce Drive Lancaster, PA 17601.  Just be forewarned, it isn't a vehicle for the faint hearted. As Mercedes-Benz says, "Courage and boldness are the definition of mettle, and of the 2012 GLK. Go-anywhere capability meets race-bred performance in a compact SUV with the full strength and deep character of a Mercedes-Benz."1 Race-bred performance? That translates into 268 hp!
